Ding dong, the logo’s dead

I just noticed something about the Habari installer mockup from yesterday.

IT USES THE BELL LOGO IN THE BACKGROUND.

You have to squint to see it kinda blurry.

I think this is a good idea, we should just take the bell logo from the pumpkin and run with it.

When someone finally supplies me with a logo I can drop in the design, I’m sure it’ll be the ugliest thing I’ve seen since the last logo thread in the mailing list, and I’ll end up replacing it anyway, just like the rest of the crap designs that Khaled and Michael have been providing that I’ve been deftly ignoring.

So why not use the logo I made myself? Seriously, it’s so obviously better than any of the other logo ideas, that I thought it a natural conclusion that my page design would be better, too.

And while we’re on the topic, it’s not a bird, you design nit-wits, it’s a bell. A bell! Don’t you get it?! News = Bell. Duh!
